About Us

The Islamic Society of North Jersey (ISNJ) is registered with the State of NJ as a 501(C) (3) and an independent non-profit religious organization. Islamic Society of North Jersey (ISNJ) was established in 2006 in Budd Lake, NJ. The community began in 2006 with 75+ members and Al Hamdulillah have currently grown to 200+ members Al Hamdulillah. ISNJ is an organization that has been established upon the guiding principles of the Qur'an and Sunnah.

  • First and foremost, we aim to provide the Muslims in the nearby vicinity an avenue to perform the basic obligations and recommended acts of their religion such as the Jummah Khutbah, five daily congregational prayers, and Eid Salah.
  • Secondly, we seek to provide community members with opportunities that will help increase their knowledge and understanding of the religion. This includes Friday night lectures, Qur'an classes for adults and children, and Arabic for adults.
  • Furthermore, we aim to strengthen the ties of brotherhood and sisterhood through community events throughout the year such as Eid celebration, Ramadan Iftars, Picnics, and community dinners.
