Hadith

The Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) said, “Read the Qur’an and act by it. And do not abandon it, do not exceed its limits, do not eat with it [i.e. money] and do not seek more by using it.”
Sahih al-Jami no. 1168 - [Sahih]
Islam is built upon five: to worship Allah and to disbelieve in what is worshiped besides him, to establish prayer, to give charity, to perform Hajj pilgrimage to the house, and to fast the month of Ramadan.

About Us

Islamic Society of North Jersey

The Islamic Society of North Jersey (ISNJ) was established in February 1999 in Budd Lake, NJ upon the guiding principles of the Qur’an and Sunnah. The community began with 75+ members and now contains 200+ active members, Alhamdulillah.

We aim to provide Muslims within the northern New Jersey area a place where they can :

Perform their Islamic acts of worship, including five daily congregational prayers Connect with other Muslim families
